Elizabeth (Lib) joined her husband, Larry Carper in real estate in 1975. Lib graduated The Wyatt Institute of Real Estate and received her real estate sales license in the state of South Carolina. Lib then went back to Wyatt where she graduated the Brokers program and became a licensed South Carolina Broker.

While working in real estate, Lib taught bookkeeping, typing, and English part time in the high school at Tabernacle Christian School. Lib is a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Greenville, SC, founded by her late father, Dr. Harold B. Sightler.

Lib enjoys spending time with her two sons, (Ben and Roger) her daughter in-laws,(Judy and Dawn) and her four grandchildren.
